Urban Youth Kings & Queens Inc. (UYKQ) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to educate and empower Philadelphia’s children and adolescents through wellness, sports, and after-school programs to recognize their talents, pursue college, and become leaders in their communities.

UYKQ Germantown Warriors Baseball Program is a Community League which teaches the fundamental skills and techniques used to help elevate young athletes in the game of baseball.

Germantown Lady Warriors Softball provides an opportunity for young girls beginning at the age of 7 through 12, to learn and develop the game of Softball.

Germantown Warriors Quickball is for young players ages 4 - 6, who are excited for their first opportunity on the diamond. Quickball is a youth sports program that helps teach fundamental skills of baseball and softball in a fast-paced setting.

Urban Youth Kings & Queens Inc. Basketball Program is catered to players ages 4 – 16, to provide every child an opportunity to play the game of basketball, regardless of their skill level or talents.

Summer Enrichment
Camp

UYKQ Summer Enrichment Camp is a 6 week camp that provides children ages 6 - 10, an opportunity to engage in a fun and exciting summer experience that includes Nature Walks, Swimming, Field Trips, Sports, STEM and more.

New Program

UYKQ Sports & Enrichment After School Program

We are excited to expand our After School programs to our John B. Kelly School in Germantown for the upcoming 2025-26 SY. This is a Sports, Recreation & Enrichment themed program to keep kids physically active. Program is open to students in grades K - 2.

Program includes Homework Help, Snacks, Physical Fitness, Sports & Recreation, Arts, STEAM and more.

Program operates M - F, 3pm - 6pm, on-site.
Cost is FREE. Limited spots available so inquire today!

Girls Spring Softball

Registration is now open for our Spring Softball 8U and 10U teams. Germantown Lady Warriors Softball provides an opportunity for young girls to learn and develop in Softball.

Registration is open for Spring Quickball for ages 4-6 (Saturday mornings 9:45 am—10:45 am) beginning in April. Quickball is a youth sports program that helps teach the fundamental skills of baseball and softball in a fast-paced setting.

UYKQ Summer Basketball League

Urban Youth Kings & Queens Inc. Basketball Program is catered to players ages 4 – 16, to provide every child an opportunity to play the game of basketball, regardless of their skill level or talents. Players receive coaching and mentoring from volunteer coaches, while learning new skills through practices, skills and drills clinics, and one on one coaching.
