URBAN YOUTH KINGS & QUEENS WELCOMES YOU

Urban Youth Kings & Queens Inc. (UYKQ) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to educate and empower Philadelphia’s children and adolescents through wellness, sports, and after-school programs to recognize their talents, pursue college, and become leaders in their communities.

2022 WINTER BASKETBALL LEAGUE

This Winter, we will be running our annual Winter Basketball League for players 7 - 15 years old. Players of all skill levels are welcome to register, and have an opportunity to develop and play the game of basketball.

Games will be held on Saturday mornings and/or Wednesday evenings, in Mt. Airy at New Covenant Church of Philadelphia, and Sunday mornings in Tioga at City Athletics.


Practices begin week of January 3, 2022, with Assessments being held in December. COACHES ARE NEEDED.

Register early as there are limited slots for each division. Registration fee is $125.

2021 FALL BASKETBALL WORKOUTS

UYKQ Fall Basketball Workouts  gives an opportunity for young players to build and develop their skills in basketball, while building confidence on the court. 


Session 1 - Sept 18 - Oct 16

Session 2 - Oct 23 - Nov 20

Session 3 - Nov 27 - Dec 18


Register today for one of our workouts.

QUEENS MENTORING AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

Register today for our 21 - 2022 Program Year. Program will begin Tuesday September 21, 2021.

The QUEENS program works with young ladies to advance their educational and career aspirations through a broad range of opportunities and experiences. The program caters to participants from ages 5 through 16.

HENRY H. HOUSTON AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Our Sports, Education and Recreational after school program at Henry H. Houston Elementary School serves students in grades K - 6 who attend the school. The program is developed to engage students across different grade levels in extracurricular activities in the after-school setting to provide a structured place to play, learn and engage with other peers.
