Urban Youth Kings & Queens Inc. (UYKQ) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to educate and empower Philadelphia’s children and adolescents through wellness, sports, and after-school programs to recognize their talents, pursue college, and become leaders in their communities.
UPCOMING PROGRAMS


2022 SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
This June, we will be running our annual Summer Basketball League for players 7 - 15 years old. Players of all skill levels are welcome to register, and have an opportunity to develop and play the game of basketball. Games will be held on some week nights and Saturday mornings, outdoors, in Mt. Airy.
Player Assessments will be held second week of June with practices beginning the following week. Season will kick off week of June 20th.
COACHES ARE NEEDED.
Registration closes May 31, 2022.
Registration fee is $135.
2022 SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP
UYKQ will be hosting our Summer Basketball Camp at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy this year.
Our summer basketball camp include:

Fun and competitive games and competitions
We are offering 4 sessions this season from 8am to 4pm!
Session 1 - June 21 -24 (4 days)
Session 2 - July 5 - 8 (4 days)
$160/ea.
Session 3 - July 18 - 22 (5 days)
Session 4 - August 1 - 5 (5 days)
$200/ea.


2022 SPRING BASEBALL
UYKQ Germantown Baseball Program is a Community League which teaches the fundamental skills and techniques used to help elevate young athletes in the game of baseball. Beginning at the age of 4 through 14.
Join us this Spring for Tee Ball (ages 4 - 6) on Saturdays and Rookie Ball (ages 7 - 9) and Minors (ages 9 - 10) beginning in April. Players will learn the fundamentals of baseball through practice and game play throughout the season.
Registration is open now for interested families. Tee-Ball ($50) and Rookie and Minors ($100).

Our Sports, Education and Recreational after school program is developed to engage students across different grade levels in extracurricular activities in the after-school setting to provide a structured place to play, learn and engage with other peers.
