Urban Youth Kings & Queens Basketball
Urban Youth Kings & Queens Inc. Basketball League is catered to players ages 4 – 16, to provide every child an opportunity to play the game of basketball, regardless of their skill level or talents. Players receive coaching and mentoring from volunteer coaches, while learning new skills through practices, skills and drills clinics, and one on one coaching.
Summer and Winter Basketball Leagues
Urban Youth Kings & Queens Inc. Summer and Winter Basketball League is catered to boys and girls ages 4 – 16, to provide every child an opportunity to play the game of basketball, regardless of their skill level or talents. Now offering opportunities for our development program for children ages 4-6.
Players receive coaching and mentoring from volunteer coaches, while learning new skills through practices, skills and drills clinics, and one on one coaching.
Winter 2026 League Details
- When: January - March 2026
- Practices: Mon, Tues or Wed evenings (6pm or later) (guaranteed 1 practice per week)
Games: Thur evenings (6pm or later); Saturday mornings - Where: SCH Vare Fieldhouse - 8000 E Cherokee St. Phila PA 19128
- Age Divisions: 4 - 6; 7 - 9; 10 - 12; 13 - 16
- Registration Fee: Ages 4 - 6 ($90) Ages 7 - 16 ($185)
- Registration Deadline: December 21, 2025
Basketball Clinics
UYKQ Basketball Clinics are a developmental opportunity for players of all skill levels, ages 6 - 16, to develop their game, learn fundamental skills and build self-confidence. Coaches instruct players on Ball Handling, Shooting, Situational Awareness, Defense, Passing, Conditioning and much more. Players should expect to learn the concept of team work and sportsmanship, while building a level of confidence to further their game of basketball individually and in a team setting.

Beginners Ages 6 - 10 @ 9:45am - 10:45am
Shooting Clinics Ages 8 - 16 @ 11am - 1pm

- Dates: June 17 - Aug 10
- Game Days: Tues/Thur evenings or Sat mornings
- Practice Days: May vary by team on weeknights, 6pm or later.
