Building a Legacy: UYKQ's History, Vision, and Core Values
Urban Youth Kings & Queens Inc. was founded December 12, 2016 by Haneef Hill. His vision was to stabilize and strengthening children in the community through productive programming while improving the living experiences of the youth he served. Raised in the Northwest section of the city, Haneef developed the organization as a streamline for him to give back to his community while understanding the importance of community programs, and providing adequate opportunities to youth. In 2019 Haneef was awarded the Edgar A. Baker Award by EMAN.
